Our fight starts now

It’s time to start fighting back.

The election is over, and we now know what’s coming. The next four years will feature a President who has promised to bring back torture, murder the families of terror suspects, close America’s doors to those fleeing war, put us back on the path to war with Iran, militarize our police even more than they already are, and waste more money at the Pentagon then ever before. And he’s got a Congress that’s going to help him do it.

Our only choice is to fight back!

Add your name to our Pledge of Resistance!

Every great movement is born out of struggles like the one we are about to face. We are not naive about how hard the fight we’re facing will be, but we know that no matter what the election results, those of us who want America to be a force for good in the world, a country that respects the rule of law, promotes peace, and never again fights a war of choice are an overwhelming majority.

Now is the time to stand up and start fighting back. We face a new administration that is hostile to activists and dissent and has all of the tools of the surveillance state, so we need to be strong and united. We need to let Donald Trump and his allies in Congress know that we will never be silent and never stop fighting for our progressive values.

Please join our pledge today to let Trump know that we will never stop fighting for our values at home and abroad.

A long battle for a better tomorrow starts today. It is going to be hard, but we know we can win. Our movement was born in the dark days of George Bush’s Iraq War. We know how to fight against a President with a Congress in his pocket. And we know that above all, it takes unity and solidarity. Now let’s get started!

It's Time to Hold Saudi Arabia Accountable in Yemen

Last month we scored a rare victory when the US Senate introduced and debated a bill to halt an arms sale to Saudi Arabia. This was unprecedented, and even though we did not block the sale, our voices were heard and the Obama administration said continuing military assistance hinged on Saudi Arabia [...]

The Truth about the $1.7 billion settlement with Iran

Update: Since we originally posted this, numerous Republicans, including Presidential nominee Donald Trump, have continued to promote the false narrative that this settlement was somehow a 'ransom' payment. While Iran deal opponents are desperate to talk about anything other than the conti[...]
