We need your help to stop Rex Tillerson

Just when you thought it couldn’t get worse, Donald Trump just nominated the CEO of ExxonMobil, Rex Tillerson, to be the Secretary of State. From his personal conflicts of interest and his coziness with Russia, to his lack of experience and unknown policy positions, Tillerson is a baffling and dangerous choice to be America’s top diplomat. America cannot afford a Secretary of State who has spent his entire career putting Big Oil profits ahead of human rights and our planet’s survival.
We want to go all-in fighting Tillerson and Trump and their dangerous agenda, but we can’t do it without you!
Can you please help us with a one-time gift of $25 to fight the confirmation of Rex Tillerson?
Tillerson rounds out a group of nominees in which each new announcement is more terrifying than the last. Whether it is the Iran Deal, protecting our climate, or helping to keep America safe, these nominations show us just how hard our fight will be under a President Trump.
With just this latest nomination, Donald Trump has nominated a man who has put business deals over human rights, who has put the interest of his shareholders over that of the country, and who has troubling ties to the autocratic and repressive Russian government.
But we have a plan to fight back. Right now, we’re putting together campaigns to make sure that we bring your voice to Washington and defend progressives’ hard won gains under President Obama. We are building alliances so that we have the power to resist this nomination and have the capacity to build the more progressive world we know you believe in. Your support, right now, will help us expand our work bringing our fight to Congress starting with Trump’s dangerous nominations.
Please contribute today to help us launch a massive fight for our shared values against the Trump Administration.
Our world has changed and we must fight harder than we ever have to protect the principles that we stand for. We know that together we can not only fight, we can win. So, please stand with us today.
