WashingtonWin Without War launches new campaign demanding ICE leave our communities and calling for support to the Minnesota groups keeping people safe amidst Trump’s occupation.

“People across the country have been inspired by Minnesotans’ bravery in the face of brutality and murder at the hands of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Patrol (CBP). Despite the Trump administration’s claims to “de-escalate” in Minneapolis, tensions remain, violence continues, and the number of people at risk is growing.

“It’s horrifyingly clear that the state-sponsored terror we’ve witnessed in Minnesota could happen anywhere. In response, Win Without War has launched digital billboards in four cities to affirm our solidarity with Minnesotans, drive resources to frontline groups, and send the Trump administration a clear reminder that we want ICE and CBP out of our communities.

“The billboards direct people to StandWithMinnesota.com, a directory compiled by local organizers of on-the-ground efforts that need urgent support. They are located in Atlanta, Denver, Nashville, and the San Francisco Bay Area.

“Local organizations are sources of safety and refuge in any crisis, but many operate on shoestring budgets, or often no budget at all. In Minnesota, donations fund the hotlines neighbors use to warn each other about ICE sightings; dashcams for legal observers documenting ICE and CBP’s abuse; food deliveries to families afraid to leave their homes or whose breadwinners have been detained; and legal representation and support for people  abducted by ICE, and more.

“Together, we’ll reject Trump’s violent authoritarianism in Minneapolis and beyond.”
