25+ Transpartisan Orgs Identify $80 Billion in Pentagon Budget Cuts

Over 25 organizations — representing a range of positions across the political spectrum — sent a letter to key Congressional committees identifying suggested cuts to the Fiscal Year 2022 Pentagon budget that would yield a savings of about $80 billion. Though the coalition represents a diversity of political views, the signers share a common goal of reducing wasteful Pentagon spending and righting the mismatched priorities of the current U.S. budget.
