37 Groups to Congress: Reject Trump’s Dangerous Push for War in Latin America

WASHINGTON – A diverse coalition of good governance, veterans, immigration, human rights, and faith-based organizations sent a letter to key congressional leaders today urging immediate action to block President Trump’s reported directive to use U.S. military force against criminal organizations in Latin America. The letter follows news that U.S. air and naval forces are deploying to the Southern Caribbean Sea in preparation for possible strikes.
